My friends in the Free State Project have stepped up the activism to include daily open cannabis celebrations in the Keene town square. After two marijuana possession arrests the police are standing down. The second arrestee was released after it was discovered that he was in possession of chocolate mint, an herb as harmless as cannabis itself but not currently prohibited by law. The activism has even spread to nearby Manchester where an activist openly sold cannabis in protest of an irrational and immoral law.
